Human bodies are like musical instruments each with its own sound , resonance and echo.
الأجساد البشرية مثل الآلات الموسيقية لكل منها صوتها ورنينها وصداها الخاص
Within the framework of Identities project we have researched the sound and musical heritage of social and religious rituals in The Levant region. We felt the need to delve deeper into the body’s relationship to music, especially with regard to vocal and movement improvisation.
We asked our fellow musicians to hold a workshop on improvisation between dancers, actors, musicians and singers.
The workshop took us to dimensions we had never reached before in terms of the expressive capabilities of our bodies. The workshop inspired the auditory aspect of project’s performances.

طلبنا من زملائنا الموسيقيين عقد ورشة عمل حول الارتجال بين الراقصين والممثلين والموسيقيين والمغنين
أخذتنا ورشة العمل إلى أبعاد لم نصل إليها من قبل من حيث القدرات التعبيرية لأجسادنا، كما ألهمت الجانب السمعي لعروض المشروع
