This workshop is the practical side of our research about social and religious rituals in the Levant region. It was the practical launch of the Identities Project.
We worked on the movement vocabulary of prayer in the three monotheistic religions (Islam, Christianity and Judaism) in terms of its form, indications , symbols and rhythm.
Then we tried to disassemble it to monitor the details that have accumulated over time and entered into the identity of the Arab body in terms of postures, gestures , presence , rhythm, and relation with space, and also in terms of the relation dynamic between word and movement

عملنا على المفردات الحركية للصلاة في الديانات السماوية الثلاث (الإسلامية والمسيحية واليهودية) من حيث شكلها ،ودلالاتها، ورموزها، و إيقاعها
حاولنا تفكيكها لرصد التفاصيل التي تراكمت بمرور الوقت ودخلت في هوية الجسد العربي من حيث الوضعيات والإيماءات والحضور والإيقاع والعلاقة مع الفضاء، و من حيث ديناميكية العلاقة بين الكلمة و الحركة
