From Within is one of the creative projects of the Jasad for Training, Research and Creativity Initiative. It’s a Series of Screen physical theatre films. This genre is referring to the adaptation of physical theatre (storytelling through movement, gesture, and dance, often with minimal dialogue) for film, TV, or digital platforms, requiring actors to use subtle, camera-friendly physicality instead of stage performing, blending live performance techniques with cinematic close-ups and retakes to convey emotion and narrative through the body for a visual medium.
من جوّا هو أحد المشاريع الإبداعية لمبادرة جسد للتدريب و البحث و الإبداع، و هو عبارة عن سلسلة من أفلام المسرح الجسدي السينمائي. يشير هذا النوع إلى تكييف المسرح الحركي (سرد القصص من خلال الحركة والإيماءات والرقص، وغالبًا مع حوار محدود) مع الأفلام أو التلفزيون أو المنصات الرقمية، مما يتطلب من المؤدين استخدام حركات جسدية دقيقة ومناسبة للكاميرا بدلاً من العرض المسرحي، ومزج تقنيات الأداء الحي مع اللقطات المقربة السينمائية وإعادة التصوير لنقل المشاعر والسرد من خلال الجسد للعروض المرئية

- Following the construction process according to our methodology in working on live physical theatre performances.
- Considering the camera as an active partner to the performer by integrating it into the choreography.
- Employing the single-shot technique (continuous camera recording) for filming.
